Experience El Nido

El Nido is a coastal area in the province of Palawan. It has 45 islands and islets, limestone cliffs similar to those found in Ha Long Bay, Vietnam, Guilin in China, and Krabi in Thailand. El Nido is famous to both local and foreign tourists. It is more than a beach; indeed, it is a tropical paradise. Its beautiful beaches, crystalline clear water, verdant jungle, majestic limestone cliffs are world reknown. No wonder it is named as one of the most beautiful seascapes and beaches in the entire world.
Although El Nido has become famous as a tropical paradise, the main source of income in the islands is fishing and harvesting swift’s nest (“Nido”), pointing to the origin of its name.
A lot of exciting activities are offered to tourists in this paradise, mostly water activities. Tourists can also simply relax on the beach while enjoying the fabulous beauty of the place. El Nido is known to be a perfect spot for water sports like diving, kayaking and snorkeling.
Its breath taking view of the nature is really magnificent and the main reason why you should visit this paradise. El Nido’s beach offers beautiful water and vibrant coral reefs. There are also a lot of lagoons, coves and caves where visitors can explore by kayaking.
Bacuit Bay is great for diving, snorkeling or hiking, and is accessible by boat. Its clear waters teem with marine life and is home to some endangered species like dugongs and sea turtle. Manta rays, hundred species of fishes, colorful coral reefs and whale sharks will also make their presence felt if you’re lucky. You can choose from 30 diving sites ranging in depth from six to more than thirty meters. Overnight Island hopping is also offered. If you are an adventurous person, you may also want to try rock climbing, a zipline, and trekking which are on offer in some of the more modern facilities.
There are walking treks guiding you to the top of the headland which has breathtaking views all the way.
There are several Islands present in El Nido which are all magnificent and beautiful. One of it is Cadlao Island famous for its white sand beaches and lagoons. It is the largest in El Nido which has 10.06 square kilometers land area with a resort-hotel on the island. It is the closest to the town among the islands and also has the highest peak.
El Nido’s beauty and charm does not lessen as the sun goes down. Experience El Nido at sunset.
